AITHA Lux IoT · Engineering and installation

Control each light point through Zhaga, DALI and NB-IoT

Architecture, connectivity, interfaces and deployment conditions for AITHA Lux IoT.

Functional architecture

Each node controls its luminaire and communicates directly through a compatible NB-IoT network, without AITHA IoT Router LoRa.

Processing and communication

  • ESP32-S3-MINI microcontroller.
  • Quectel BC660K-GL NB-IoT module.
  • Local programming and service through USB.
  • Remote OTA updates through AITHANEX Things.

Luminaire interface

  • Zhaga mechanical format.
  • Four-pin Zhaga Book 18 connection.
  • Nominal 16 VDC supply from the Zhaga connector.
  • DALI control through the Zhaga connector.

Technical capabilities

Control and scheduling

  • On, off and dimming control.
  • Individual and group control.
  • Schedules, scenes, profiles and operating rules.

Status and sensing

  • Operating status, consumption and event reporting.
  • Fault detection based on available signals.
  • Integrated ambient light sensor.

Connectivity

  • LTE Cat NB2 through Quectel BC660K-GL.
  • No LoRa network or dedicated LoRa router required.
  • Integration with AITHANEX Things or the system defined for the project.

Deployment conditions

Remote communication requires compatible NB-IoT coverage, permissions and configuration.

Coverage

Availability, bands and operator NB-IoT network conditions must be validated at each location.

Luminaire

Installation requires a luminaire compatible with Zhaga Book 18 and DALI control.

Integration

Platform, permissions, scheduling and event management are defined for each project.
