Control and diagnose each light point via Zhaga, DALI and LoRa

Luminaire control, LoRa link, range and consumption and event reporting. Data reaches AITHANEX or your own management system through AITHA IoT Router LoRa.

Communication architecture

AITHA Lux LoRa uses a dedicated LoRa network to link light points with AITHA IoT Router LoRa.

AITHA Lux LoRa node

  • Controls and monitors the luminaire.
  • Sends status, consumption and events over LoRa.
  • Receives schedules and dimming commands.

AITHA IoT Router LoRa

  • Aggregates AITHA Lux LoRa nodes.
  • Carries data and commands to AITHANEX or the system defined for the project.
  • Uses 4G, Ethernet or WiFi for the uplink.

Technical features

Luminaire control

  • On, off and dimming.
  • DALI via the Zhaga connector.

Communication

  • LoRa link with AITHA IoT Router LoRa.
  • Output power: 22 dBm.
  • Frequency: 868 MHz band (EU), configurable range 862–931 MHz.
  • Theoretical range: up to 5 km (depends on scenario, installation and radio environment).

Luminaire connection

  • 4-pin Zhaga Book 18.
  • Power supply: 16 Vdc from the Zhaga connector.

Programming and status

  • Schedules, scenes, profiles and operation rules.
  • Operating, consumption and event reporting for the light point.
  • Data, alarm and scheduling integration with AITHANEX.
